Philosophy of Care

Science-Based and Relational Trauma-Informed Care

I believe true healing happens when evidence-based techniques are delivered within a safe, authentic therapeutic relationship. My approach is trauma-informed, integrating methods like EMDR to address not just symptoms, but the root causes of distress. Together, we’ll honor your unique story while gently guiding your nervous system toward resilience, self-compassion, and lasting change. You don’t have to walk this path alone.

My Background

A Decade of Dedicated Practice

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 10 years of experience treating adults suffering from mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I have worked with adults from a wide range of demographic backgrounds in both the community mental health and private practice setting.

I was traditionally trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and have refined my clinical practice over the years to include the use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which allows clients to have a comprehensive therapeutic experience that addresses not only present-day challenges but also the underlying physiological dysregulation caused by unresolved past experiences. Currently, my focus is on supporting adults from all walks of life, with a particular emphasis on individuals in high pressure roles such as first responders, law enforcements officers, healthcare professionals, etc.
